FEBRUARY 23 - MARCH 3, 2022

Welcome to the WNS Time Machine K-8 Book Fair!, where reading can take you anywhere!

That’s right, the Parent Group is blazing the trail for a new look this year with a hybrid approach that blends the very best of our in-person and online experience for an amazing K-8 Book Fair.

We have partnered with Scholastic Book Fairs to offer an exciting, in-person shopping experience for the kids in the MLC. Your child will visit the Book Fair during school hours with their class and come home with a Book “Wish List”. Then, they will return to the Book Fair and have a chance to purchase the books on their wish list.

We will miss seeing our parents in the Book Fair this year, but we invite the entire family to join us online for Live Author Zooms with award-winning authors, as well as enjoy exclusive online content, like Big Buddy Read Aloud videos, curated reading lists, and more!

We also invite you to help update your child’s classroom library by contributing to their classroom’s eWallet. You can find those links below under “Classroom eWallets.” These eWallets allow the teachers to shop the Book Fair for books for their classrooms!

Alumni Highlight

As we wrap up the WNS 2022 Book Fair we have some exciting news to share. Ayla Bushell, WNS Class of 2021, is now a published author! Her book, Ineffable, is a collection of dark fantasy short stories, poems, and vignettes that can now be found on Amazon! Take a look at the video of Ayla describing her process and how she conquered her dreams of becoming a published author by her 15th birthday! Congratulations, Ayla!

We invite you to help update your child(ren)’s classroom library by contributing to their classroom eWallet.

Click on the link of your child’s class section and add a special gift to your child’s class! At the end of the Book Fair, the teachers will get to come into the Book Fair and shop for books for their classroom library!

You are not only supporting the school but also the children’s enjoyment of reading in the classroom.

Your gift to your child’s classroom is not anonymous. At the end of the Book Fair, the teachers will receive a list of those participating families (not amounts) who helped them build their classroom library. Thank you!
